I used to think I knew what the blues was and that I knew every inch of the road. I used to think I knew what paying dues meant and I’d already carried my load. I used to think I knew what being in love was and that I’d been there as far as I could go. I used to think I knew what being alone meant and just to spend a few hours on my own. But my blues were red, and my dues are in my head, and my load was just a pound or two. Yes, my love was like a beginner on a bike. I really hadn’t done a thing till I met you, till I met you. I used to think I knew what my path was, and my life would be a straight and single line. I used to think that nothing could phase me, and everything I could want would be mine. I used to think I’d experienced some heartaches if I failed when I tried to succeed. I used to think that no matter what heartbreaks I would always come forward to lead. But my path was a track that was gonna take me back and show me what’s what and who’s who. And the pain in my heart was alright for a start. I really hadn’t done a thing till I met you, till met you. Till I met you I thought I knew what the blues was. Till I met you I thought I knew the road. I thought I knew what dues meant until I met you. Until I met you I thought I knew what love was. Till I met you I thought I knew real heart. I thought I knew what alone meant until I met you. Until I met you I thought I knew some heartaches; I thought I’d known pain. Till I met you I thought I’d known about heartbreaks till I met you. (ooh) Till I met you. (3x). ~(Till I Met You by: Wil Greenstreet)

Whisper Your Name V1 I still recall the time and the place the moment when I saw your face I was young and you were younger and my hunger fed my hope these memories remain pieces of pleasure, acres of pain all of it comes rushing back in when I whisper your name V2 you looked to me like dreams coming true I’ll never know what I was to you you took this heart and made it tender then you bruised it, as lovers do And I still lick that wound when the weather in my head, it starts to rain a silent typhoon a sorrowful tune when I whisper your name bridge it seems surreal this memory should draw the longing out of me and all it takes is just that single magic word I guess we all collect regrets Like ghosts who haunt and yet There’s secret sweetness in the pain I wouldn’t want to change a thing there’s no way I could erase you.... V3 and when I drop myself into bed a movie keeps playing inside of my head a tale of passion and betrayal no way we were ever gonna last and though our time has passed I’m still embracing you When I whisper your name When I whisper your name
